Welding Begins!

I started classes yesterday, and I was so tired when I got home, that I was totally ready for bed. I have an 8:00 math class, then Welding from 12:40 to 4:40, then an English class from 6:00 to 9:00. EXHAUSTING! Today isn't so bad, Math at 8:00, then nothing until the 5:30 Metallurgy class. Tomorrow, Math at 8:00, and Welding from 12:40 to 4:40. Thursday and Friday, just the 8:00 math class.

My English class is awesome! I love the teacher, she's really down to earth, and not snobby at all, like you would think an English teacher would be. We have an assignment to think about, an event in our lives that we learned a lesson from. This is going to be tough for me. There's a bunch of things I could write about, but I'll have to think hard about it. I need options!

I get to start Welding tomorrow, and I hope I don't burn myself, or blind myself! I'm really excited about learning how to do it, but I'm scared at the same time. It's not a typical woman's job, and I am the only woman in my class. I'm not sure how many more women are in the program, but it's a little strange being in a class full of men. (Not for me, but I'm sure it's weird for them.)
