Semester End, and Holidays Begin

Well, I did very, very well this semester. My GPA was a 3.667%, I could have done better, and should have, but I tanked my 3rd essay in my English class. It was supposed to be an argumentative paper, and mine was too persuasive. I had a really hard time with it, and definitely didn't deserve better than the 'C' I received on the paper. I am severely disappointed in myself, because I know I could have done much much better. But, I vow that next semester, in my next English class (public speaking), I will do so much better. I did however, manage an 'A' good enough on my my Metallurgy final to get an 'A' for the semester. That, was a hard earned 'A', as I had to sit though class taught by a man who very, very obviously didn't care for me much. I was also the only woman in that class. The A earned in my Welding class was pure satisfaction. I thoroughly enjoyed that class. Despite the one man in that class who had a problem with me. I learned so much, and I found that I am actually a decent MIG welder. My math class was tough at the beginning, but I did so well in that class, that I shocked myself. I always thought that I was never any good at math, but apparently, I just never had the right teacher.
