Well, it seems to have been a REALLY long time since I've sat down and posted anything on here. And, well...I'm working and going to school, still a Mom and wife, and have honestly been too busy to do much postulating on this site. I'll be attempting to pitch a thought out here and there, as work and world events collide.
I worked at this company I am with for almost 8 months before I was given benefits. I was not happy about that either, because they promised me I would have them right after new years, and they didn't go into effect until Feb 1. And, I didn't get a raise. But, I am still working there, and I have Medical Insurance, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, and life insurance again. I feel sooooo much more safe in the job now. Not to mention, I only have 2 semesters of welding left before I will have my degree.
I promise that for anyone who has read my posts, they will be a little more frequent, I promise I won't go 9 or 10 months between posts again!
