Well, we're off the mandatory Saturdays at work, finally! And, I got waaaaayyyyy more then a $0.25 raise. I got...prepare yourself, it's shocking...$1.50! I know! I was totally shocked! Apparently, those of us who were hired on last summer, were not making as much as those they hired this summer, and our new HR department noticed the discrepancy, and wanted it corrected. So, now I make $1.25 more than the 15 people that they have hired on this summer, and $.75 more than some of the others that were hired last summer. WOW!
And, with all the mandatory OT I was working, we are going on a little mini-vacation the week of July 4th. We're going to Carowinds! My son is finally tall enough to ride the rides, and we thought it was time to treat him, and ourselves to some serious fun! I am very much looking forward to our trip, and just hope that we don't all get sunburned too badly!
